Trails for Tails Privacy Policy explains how clients personal information is collected, stored & used. The policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation that comes into effect on May 25th 2018.

Trails for Tails collects personal information via our Registration Forms (hard copies only – filed securely) and information that clients provide at other times via email etc.  We do not collect personal information from our clients when they visit our website and we do not use cookies or links on our web page.

We backup up our data regularly and this is stored securely 
In the event of a data breach all our clients would be informed asap

We will only use client data for the purpose for which it was collected - it will not be sold, exchanged, transferred or given to a third party.   However, we may release client information in an emergency or when we believe that it is necessary to comply with the law or protect ours or others rights, property or safety.

Trails for Tails do not use Pet Sitting software for the day to day running of the business and we do not use accountants to produce our annual returns, therefore, all client details are kept in house.

Upon request we can remove client data from our files if the information is no longer required e.g. contract terminated
