Trails For Tails looked after our five year old Westie and initially very nervous about our dog being with other people. We have had our five year old Westie a year and she has had three previous owners so abandonment is a real issue for her and along with these fears, she also has some behaviours from mistreatment (occasional yelping, for instance) which can be quite challenging for other people. We needn’t have worried as Trails For Tails alleviated all our anxieties from the outset. We were invited to visit beforehand and were immediately at ease at how incredibly ‘doggy-centred’ the service is, with ample space for all. Our dog (who is quite lazy and doesn’t really ‘play’ much) was quite quickly seen to be having a good ol’ sniff in the garden whilst being introduced to the other pooches. Reassuringly, Trails For Tails asks for up to date information and proof of vaccinations which again assures you of the service quality and professionalism. Moreover, Trails For Tails took time and effort to know our dog’s idiosyncrasies, personality and temperment to ensure that they could meet her needs and to guarantee compatability with the other boarders. During the boarding, we received texts and picture messages to keep us informed (and again, assured) that all was well. So, in summary, an amazing service and I am so happy to recommend Trails For Tails and I know that our dog would absolutely welcome a return. A refreshingly top-class service for your precious pooch!

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Trails For Tails. Our dog was looked after in a professional, intelligent and above all affectionate way. We were very impressed with Connie's attention to vaccination certificates and thoughtfulness to us, the anxious owners.

Trails for Tails looked after our Jack Russell, Hugo, while we were on holiday for 12 days last year. We've always been reluctant to leave him in kennels, as he's an affectionate dog who needs to be in a real family atmosphere. Connie certainly provided this - and more. Throughout our holiday we received pictures of Hugo, showing him playing in the garden, snoozing on the bed and generally having a whale of a time. An excellent service - we have just booked Hugo in for another week.

I cannot thank Connie and family enough for taking the worry out of leaving our 11yr old German Sheppard. He was well looked after , being part of the family over Christmas, he was happy and we were kept up to date with photos and news by email. We will definitely leave him with Connie again knowing that he is happy, well cared for, which gives us 100 percent peace of mind. Highly recommended !

My experience with Trails for Tails has been excellent. My Bischon Frise, Isla is in full time daycare at Trails for Tails and enjoys her long walks with her friends, then back to Connie's home to continue playing. Trails for Tails is incredibly flexible which is exactly what I need as a full time worker who still wants the pleasure of owning a dog without neglecting her during the daytime. I know Isla is happy, safe and thorougly cared for. I could not be happier with this service.

Connie at Trails for Tails offers a fantastic service. She has looked after our puppy since we have had him and has always been very considerate to his needs. He has grown into a fantastic dog and is very social which is down to his daytime activities with Trails for Tails. Connie is incredibly flexible which has helped us enormously with having a dog and a busy working life. I would recommend her service to anyone. We are very pleased we have found her.

Every trip to Connie's has Alfie straining at the leash to get in. Hardly surprising as Connie's warm, confident approach makes us both feel at home. I have no fears in leaving him - he gets straight in with the action with his well remembered pals and I'm seemingly forgotten about in an instant. He doesn't ever bother to come and say goodbye. It goes without saying he gets first class treatment in a superb environment and I suspect at times has more fun than being at home with us. Connie is a wonderful, thoughtful, caring, professional. Alfie always arrives home clean, well and happy. I have a sneaking suspicion that there will come a time when we go to collect him he will refuse to leave.

I cannot recommend Trails for Tails enough. They looked after my elderly cat and two rabbits for two weeks. They clearly love animals and nothing was too much trouble. They even sent text messages and photo's of the pets to us. My children were so excited to see their pets whilst on holiday. We came home to three very happy and relaxed pets. Thank you.

We've been really satisfied with Trails for Tails. Our dog loves going there once a week to play with her friends and also recently she enjoyed a great holiday there when we went away for a week. It's great for the dog to be in a family low stress environment. Trails for Tails have also worked with us to iron out some behavioral issues. We would recommend them to anyone as they provide a friendly, knowledgeable and value for money service that suits our busy life.

We have been very pleased with the holiday boarding and day care our dog has received at Trails for Tails. Our dog is always eager to go there and her tail wags wildly whenever she sees Connie. We appreciate the regular text updates and photos. We would thoroughly recommend the service as Connie goes out of her way to accommodate both the needs of our dog and our needs.

Trails for tails have been providing day care 2-4 days a week and boarding on holidays for our two dogs for a year now. We have relied upon them on many occasions to be flexible and often asked them to have the dogs at short notice. We have found them to be professional and reliable and they have not once let us down. I would happily recommend this service to people and already have done so to neighbours! We had looked at other services in the area and they do not meet the standard offered by Trails for Tails.

Trails for Tails is my best discovery since moving to Saltdean. My dog loves Connie, her family, and the various other dogs in her care. She always comes home happy, stimulated and ready for a good sleep. I would not want my dog to go anywhere else.

Truly excellent service - I cannot recommend highly enough. Trails for Tails gave such a high level of care and attention that I think our cats were sorry when we came home! Trails for Tails are so professional, and really care for your pets as if they were their own. Brilliant brilliant lovely people :). Thank you!

I was worried about leaving my little Jack Russell X puppy especially after trying someone else initially who didn't inspire my confidence. THEN I found Connie/Trails for Tails. Connie is so obviously a dog lover who is perceptive and sensitive to each one of her doggy visitors' characters. She cares for each one ensuring they have a fun packed time with games and walkies (as well as cosy naps when they are tired!). I am so grateful to Connie for caring for little Poppy who can't wait to get through Trails for Tails front door (I think she would rather like to stay with Connie permanently!!). I can't recommend Trails for Tails enough.

We've always been afraid to leave our spoilt and slightly anxious dog Bonnie with other people, but Trails for Tails seemed such a relaxed family home so we took the chance. While on holiday, we received updates and photographs, which were very reassuring and to be honest we weren't at all worried about her. She'd had chicken and rice for christmas dinner, was allowed to sleep in the bedrooms during a thunderstorm, enjoying two walks a day and playing with other dogs and football with the children in the garden. When Bonnie returned to us she was her usual perky and confident self, only perhaps a little calmer. She'd obviously had a great time and received expert understanding with lots of affection. I highly recommend Trails for Tails as a very professional and caring service.

We have used Trail for Tails for full time daily daycare for a year & a half now, the service is reliable & great value for money. Flexibility is also key & we have tested this often, which always works. We have also used the service for overnight stays - which has been a great success. Highly recommend.
Lynda, Brighton - Sept'11
Trails for Tails went out of their way it make it a home from home experience, trying to accommodate each dogs preferences. The dogs were well exercised and treated as part of the family. It was nice to have an update with photographs whilst we were away. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them or boarding our dogs there again.
Caryl, Brighton - Sept'11
Connie looked after our dog Amber for 10 days during the summer holidays. We could not have been happier with the service. Connie gave us updates by text during the week and we felt that Amber was given a home from home experience. We would not hesitate to send our dog to her again.

Trail For Tails has look after my very precious border terrier cross (Stella) in regular daycare & home boarding & I am delighted by the level of care given by Connie. Stella has two walks a day and has lots of stimulation and down time when she needs it. When we are on holiday Connie takes the trouble to text us photos of Stella & even tucks her in with her special blanket. I truly believe that Stella is very happy with Connie @ Trails for Tails and we have the peace of mind that she is in very capable hands.

I have been using trails Trails for Tails' daycare services for my Jack Russell since June'11 for full time daycare & Home Boarding. Connie and her team do a great job, they are experienced, flexible, caring and really look after the dogs well. When I collect Jasper in the evenings he is always busy socialising with the other dogs and having a great time - this in itself is well worth the money as he takes these skills with him outside.
If you are looking at any of the services which Trails for Tails are offering I would highly recommend.

Kind and animal loving family business. I can leave my dog secure in
the knowledge that he will be loved and well looked after. Highly

Our two dog stayed with Connie & her family in Oct 2011. As they are very much loved & spoilt at home I was very worried as to how they would settle but Connie very much put my mind at rest as they are in a very warm homely enviroment and she got the measure of my dogs stright away on our pre visit. Whilst away Connie sent text messages & pictures to put our minds at rest & when we returned our dogs were really at home & settled our oldest dog even being allowed to sleep in Connie's bedroom as she seemed a little stressed at first (she is a bit of a queen!!). Through out their stay they had been really well walked and bathed & totally enjoyed thier holiday away. We would always use thier services and highly recommend Trails for Tails to anyone who wants a home away from home for their dogs while they are away.
I'm really happy with with the dog care service and so is my dog! The proof is when every time I pass 'Trails for Tails' house with her she stops and wants to go in! She's always has a great time there and its good to see really nice people who care for dogs running an excellent and professional service. Keep up the good work!!

Trails for tails has been looking after our two puppies whom are now 6 months old for day care whilst we are at work. They have been consistently reliable and accomodating to our needs. Connie has been particularly helpful in working with us with our puppies from a young age so we can be consistent in training. We do not worry about our "babies" when they are with Trails for Tails - they are well loved and looked after! They even wait at the door to go in the morning...
